Catch of the day!
This female bobcat holds her freshly caught Cailfornina ground squirrel in her mouth. One quick pounce and the battle was over.
Perhaps not one of our best photographs but we were mesmerized as we watched a coyote and bobcat as they matched each others pace warily and cautiously up a slope in Point Reyes National Seashore, CA.
